Certificate in Culinary Medicine Level 1 : new ONLINE course Starting September 13, 2020 10 am
I am offering Culinary Medicine Level 1 ONLINE . The course consists of 7, two hour long cooking classes and 7 sessions of 2 hours of lectures. The cooking classes will cover all the basics of cooking grains, soups, vegetables, beans, sea vegetables and home remedies The lectures will cover the standard macrobiotic diet, yin and yang, introduction to five transformations and meridians and specific health concerns with lots of opportunity for discussion. Recipes will be provided ahead of time and you are encouraged to cook along with me! This course is recommended for beginners, those new to macrobiotics and anyone who wishes to refresh their macrobiotic practice.
This is a certificate program!
Cooking class portion starts Sunday, September 13 at 10 am and the lecture portion starts Monday, September 14 at 7pm.

In this program you will learn what how simple, traditional methods of cooking with ingredients found in your kitchen will change your moods, your thoughts and your actions.
Each module includes a cooking class. The cooking classes will cover the proper preparation of whole grains, beans and beans products, soups, vegetables, sea vegetables and desserts. Two cooking classes will be devoted exclusively to home remedies and special healing dishes.
The classes include an afternoon session including studies in the Principles of Yin and Yang, The Five Transformations, Overview of Meridians (energy pathways in the body) the practice of Do-In and meridian stretching, Facial Diagnosis, and Lifestyle Practices .
The program starts at 9 am with breakfast, cooking class from 10 to 1 followed by lunch.
Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate and will qualify for Certificate in Culinary Medicine Level II.
